Dale Webb

Dale is a software engineer, tech entrepreneur, and startup advisor. He was previously the co-founder of a venture-backed recruitment tech startup.

With over a decade of startup experience building software people love, a major part of Dale’s work has been in partnership with product studios. He has helped launch digital products for a mix of B2B companies and emerging B2C brands, including Seedrs, AllBright, and Ennismore, taking ideas from concept to market.

Dale has recently been moving into transport technology, working across both the private and public sectors. In 2023, he began working with Blacklane, a Berlin-based premium ride service, during a period of strategic growth that culminated in a $60 million Series G raise in 2024. He also began working with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), which oversees transit planning across the San Francisco Bay Area. There, he supported the development of public-facing GIS tools that visualise transport data from the 1990s to the present. In parallel, he has contributed to the development of geospatial platforms for mobility and infrastructure planning. This includes a GIS analytics tool built with Coefficient Systems, funded by the National Digital Twins programme, which was later used as a blueprint for public-sector applications.

Dale studied Computer Science at the University of Birmingham, during which he was selected for Google’s Top Black Talent Programme and received an award from IBM. Today, he works independently and collaborates with our team as a trusted Associate.
