Nseobong Umoh, MBA

Nseobong Umoh is a systems-oriented freelance consultant with over a decade of international experience across transport, energy, and infrastructure systems. A certified Chief Engineer and Incorporated Engineer (IEng) with the UK Engineering Council, he has led engineering operations aboard LNG carriers globally, managing complex cargo systems, maintenance strategies, and stakeholder interfaces across international terminals.


Now working in consulting, Nseobong holds an MBA from Cranfield University School of Management and is completing an MSc in Systems Engineering on a part-time basis. His recent work spans aviation sustainability, maritime decarbonisation, and digital transformation, where he has delivered research-led analysis, stakeholder engagement, and structured recommendations to support strategic decision-making.


He brings a strong combination of technical depth, commercial awareness, and systems thinking, supported by a process improvement mindset (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt). His experience includes leading research programmes, analysing complex datasets, and translating insights into practical, evidence-based solutions aligned with operational and commercial realities.


Nseobong’s perspective is shaped by cross-sector experience across energy, maritime, and transport ecosystems (rail). He is passionate about supporting organisations in navigating transitions toward decarbonised, digitally enabled, and resilient systems.



As an Associate of TFTC, Nseobong contributes multidisciplinary expertise to public and private sector projects, combining analytical rigour with a delivery-focused approach. He is particularly motivated by work that advances sustainable mobility, infrastructure equity, and climate resilience across both UK and international contexts.
