Nseobong Umoh

Nseobong Umoh is a systems-oriented consultant with over a decade of international experience in LNG operations, and technical engineering. A certified Chief Engineer, he currently holds an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status with Engineering Council UK. Nseobong has led engineering systems operations aboard LNG carriers globally, where he managed complex cargo systems, maintenance strategies, and stakeholder interfaces at international terminals.


Now transitioning into broader consulting roles, Nseobong is completing an MBA at Cranfield School of Management and pursuing an MSc in Systems Engineering on a part-time basis. His recent consultancy work spans aviation sustainability and maritime decarbonisation, where he has advised on strategy, policy development, and stakeholder engagement frameworks. He brings deep technical insight, a strong process improvement mindset (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt), and a commitment to sustainable infrastructure planning.


Nseobong’s perspective is shaped by his cross-sector experience across energy, maritime, and transport ecosystems, particularly in emerging economies. He is passionate about supporting organisations in navigating the transitions to decarbonised, digitally enabled, and socially inclusive systems. His expertise is grounded in systems thinking, resilience planning, and delivery-focused advisory.


As an Associate of TFTC, Nseobong contributes not only marine and energy expertise but also a global, multidisciplinary view to public and private sector projects. He is especially motivated by the opportunity to work on challenges that span infrastructure equity, climate resilience, and sustainable mobility within both UK and African contexts.
