Tiff Lynch

Tiff is a freelance transport planner and strategist with 40 years’ wide-ranging transportation experience in both the private and public sectors. She uses her wide knowledge of transport strategies, policies, regulations, delivery and operation to deliver well considered project outputs and outcomes to meet client objectives.

 

She has an unusual breadth of transport planning experience, from detailed data analysis through to high-level strategy. She has worked across a variety of transport modes and transport planning sub-sectors.

 

Her most recent project experience has included infrastructure planning, transport strategies and policy making, decarbonisation, BRT/bus priority, spatial/development planning, place-making, stakeholder engagement – and much more.

 

She is passionate about joined-up thinking, being outcome-focussed and ensuring informed, inclusive collaboration across project teams. She is an innovative problem solver, a persuasive communicator, effective team leader and supportive mentor.

 

She delivers high quality and innovative project work, cross-disciplinary co-operation and great client/stakeholder relations.

 

Tiff is Director of TPL Transport Planning Ltd and Chairs the Transport Planning Society’s (TPS’s) Bus, Rail and Freight policy group. She has a bachelor’s degree in Transport Management and Planning and is a chartered member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport (CMILT) and a member of TPS (MTPS).
