MISSION 1
Decarbonising transport
Transitioning to zero-carbon transport is essential to limiting the worst effects of global warming with the transport sector responsible for 15-20% of global greenhouse gas emissions, making it one of the largest contributing sectors to climate change. Beyond the climate imperative, the shift to zero-carbon transport can help deliver notable co-benefits including cleaner air, reduced noise and improved energy security.
MISSION 2
Expanding travel choice
Expanding travel choice is vital for creating a more equitable, efficient, and sustainable transport system while reducing reliance on private cars. Meaningful and lasting behaviour change can only be achieved when a comprehensive range of sustainable travel options are provided that are integrated both physically and digitally and presented as part of a unified transport system. Expanding travel choice is also essential for promoting healthier lifestyles, reducing inequalities, improving economic productivity, and achieving long-term environmental and social goals.

Creating vibrant, liveable communities
Transport plays a pivotal role in creating vibrant, liveable communities by shaping how people interact with their surroundings and each other. Well-planned transport systems prioritise accessibility, enabling seamless connections between homes, jobs, education, and leisure destinations while reducing the dominance of private vehicles. This fosters public spaces that are safer, quieter, and more welcoming, promoting active lifestyles and greater social interaction.

I am an award-winning sustainable transport practitioner with over a decade of consultancy experience spanning the public, private and not-for-profit sectors in the UK and internationally.

I advocate for a vision-led approach to transport planning, where thought leadership takes precedence over the application of outdated models and methodologies. My approach seeks to blend rigorous technical analysis with creativity and partnership working to build consensus for solutions that are holistic and accessible to all.
I view transport as more than a means of connectivity, but as a catalyst for environmental resilience, societal progress, and economic growth. I strive to champion the role of sustainable transport in the creation of equitable, liveable, and thriving communities, guided by the principle that meaningful change comes when sustainable mobility is not only a choice but the preferred choice.

My expertise lies in transport policy and strategy, transport economics, electric mobility, parking management, and customer experience. My leadership style is built on collaboration and innovation, enabling me to guide multi-disciplinary teams effectively.
